Conservation
& Research Plans
|
The New England Plant Conservation Program is pleased to make
available a series of Conservation
and Research Plans that have been produced through
a generous anonymous grant and using data provided by Natural
Heritage Programs.
Over the next several years, these comprehensive plans will
be written for over one hundred rare plant species throughout
New England. NEPCoP regional plant Conservation and Research
Plans review the current state of knowledge about the species
and its status in New England at the time of writing, and recommend
cogent actions that should lead to the conservation of these
species. These actions will be accomplished with the cooperation
of conservation partners, volunteers, our Regional Advisory
Council, and private and public landowners.
Each of the Conservation and Research Plans available here
contain excerpts from the published documents with extensive
information on the biology, ecology, taxonomy, and distribution
of the species, along with a bibiography of published literature
on the species.
You can access Conservation and Research Plans by clicking
