When in bloom, masses of bright yellow daisy-like flowers with
dark brown "eyes" virtually hide the foliage. It thrives
in full sun in moist or dry soil.
The Eastern Coneflower was one of the first native wildflowers
to crossover into perennial cultivation where it is know as
"Goldsturm.".
Bloom time: Late July through mid-October
