Stiff Goldenrod (Solidago rigida)
Stiff Goldenrod

A member of the Aster family, Stiff Goldenrod lives in prairies, dry meadows, and roadsides. This Goldenrod is a tall, 3-5' plant with a bright yellow flower on a very erect, rigid stem. This plant grows well in most soils and thrives in open, sunny locations and adds color to the late summer, early fall garden.

Bloom time: August and September
