Swamp Pink

Photographer: Hal Horwitz

This member of the Lily family is currently considered to be endangered. It sports unusual "pokers' of pink, fragrant flowers composed of a cluster of 30-50 smaller blooms on stout, hollow stalks. It is happiest in the bog garden or in other wet, sunny spots. It grows to a height of 16".
