If you value New England’s unique environment and want to protect our native plants and their habitats, then please consider becoming a member of the New England Wild Flower Society. We rely on our members’ support to continue our many plant conservation, education, and horticulture initiatives.

Payment for membership may be made by check (by mail only) or Visa/MasterCard. If using Visa/MasterCard, you must submit your account number and expiration date. Canadian members add $8 for postage costs; overseas members add $16.

A membership to NEWFS is a perfect way to observe an anniversary, graduation, wedding, or other special occasion. NEWFS will send a gift acknowledgement to you and a notification of the gift to the person you designate.

Donations
You don’t need to be a member in order to support the New England Wild Flower Society in its work! Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated and are fully tax deductible.

Life Income Gifts

With your help we can recruit and train volunteers throughout New England to survey, monitor, and manage our region’s threatened native plants and their habitats; control and remove non-native invasive plants that threaten native plant populations;  reintroduce more rare and endangered plants into the wild; maintain Garden in the Woods, New England’s largest native plant botanical garden; and offer our more than 270 courses and field trips to students of all ages.


Personal Membership Levels

Individual ($50):

All Personal membership benefits.
Student ($38): For full time students. All Individual membership benefits.
Dual ($60): All Individual membership benefits, plus free admission to Garden in the Woods for one guest per visit.
Family & Friends ($70): All Individual membership benefits for two adults living in the same household and their children/grandchildren under 18, plus free admission to the Garden for one guest each visit.
Contributor ($100): All Family/Friends membership benefits, plus free admission for two Garden guests each visit, and $10 coupon to be used toward plant purchases at our nurseries.
Supporter ($250): All Contributor membership benefits, plus invitations to members-only events.

Sustainer ($500):

All Supporter membership benefits, plus a Garden tour for up to ten people.
Patron ($1,000): All Sustainer membership benefits, plus a free one-year individual membership for the person of your choice.
Life ($5,000): All Supporter membership benefits for life.
Associate Membership Level: (return to top of page)
Associate ($40): Subscriptions to Society publications and up to 20% discount on courses, workshops, symposia, and field trips for one person.

Garden Club/Non-Profit ($48 per year)
Ideal for small community-based organizations. Does not include Garden passes.

  • Subscription to Society publications.
  • 10% discount on group Garden tours.
  • 50% discount on all rentals and purchases of slide shows.
  • 40% discount on one room rental at Garden in the Woods.
  • 5 discount coupons for courses

Group ($150 per year)
Designed for smaller businesses or community service organizations/garden clubs.

  • Subscription to Society publications.
  • 4 circulating visitor passes to Garden in the Woods.
  • 10% discount on one room rental OR one group tour at the Garden.
  • 5 discount coupons for courses

Group Plus ($225 per year)
Designed for larger businesses or community service/garden clubs.

  • Subscription to Society publications.
  • 8 circulating visitor passes to Garden in the Woods.
  • 20% discount on one room rental OR one group tour at the Garden.
  • 10 discount coupons for courses.

Library ($125 per year)
For public and school libraries

  • Subscription to Society publications.
  • 4 circulating visitor passes to Garden in the Woods

Society publications include issues of our Journal and Programs/Events Catalog and special publications. Organizational and Associate memberships do not receive discounts on purchases at Garden in the Woods, on seeds, or at participating nurseries.
Membership in the New England Wild Flower Society is renewable each year. Dues are fully tax deductible.
