There may be no better way to honor someone special or remember
a loved one than making a memorial or tribute gift. Memorial and
tribute gifts help to sustain our work in native plant conservation,
education, and research, as well as to maintain the very beautiful
grounds of the Garden in the Woods. They
are also a wonderful means of passing on a love and respect for
nature to future generations. We maintain a Memorial Gift Book for
all such gifts.
To make a Memorial or Tribute gift, just print out the Tribute
Donation Form and mail it, with your check to:

All donations are fully tax deductible.
Memorial and Tribute Trees
and Benches
It’s also possible to honor or remember special people with a
gift of a tree or bench in Garden in the Woods!
- If a gift of $1,500 is made, we will plant and endow
a new tree in the Garden in the Woods as a living tribute for
a family member or loved one. Memorial/tribute acknowledgement
is included on the tree’s display label. You have a choice of
trees and Garden locations.
- If a gift of $5,000 is made, we will install and maintain
a bench so that a special person can be remembered at some of
the most beautiful locations within the Garden. Memorial acknowledgement
is included on a plaque attached to the bench. You have a choice
of bench styles and Garden locations.
